Mothers’ Meditation is a song co-written by NoHo & Quentin Dujardin. This slow folk pop song tells us about their life together, shared between music and family life, but also about the fragility of keeping their creative force alive every day.
Guitarist and producer Quentin Dujardin crossed paths with NoHo aka Noémie Houbart in 2016. It was a shock. The grain of her voice moved him, and together they decided to settle in the Condroz region to work on the first recordings. Within a few weeks, a guiding principle emerged, and NoHo‘s universe took shape. A stripped-down, unadorned sound was born. Straightforward vocal takes and slow grooves settle in, like the forests that surround the village they call home.
Their collaboration has been building in slow waves for almost a decade now. A slow folk pop universe in slow expansion.
