AGUA sessions #03 is a 4-track EP recorded live, without reworking, during the summer of 2024. This is the most refined and introspective album produced to date by Quentin Dujardin using an acoustic guitar with a modified pitch range. It approaches the lower octaves of a piano.
For the first time in his recording career, the composer offers three improvised tracks, as well as a cover of the famous hit ‘Summertime Sadness’ by Lana Del Rey. In a single brushstroke, the guitarist sketches a summer that is coming to an end, offering the listener a feeling of calm, of happy nostalgia.
‘Amerigo’ is a tribute to the navigator and explorer Amerigo Vespucci, who slides through time, reaching towards the immense impulse of adventure of this unimaginable era.
With its calm atmospheres, this EP paints marine frescoes that cross new and old worlds. They are like the black and white that illuminates this cover to offer the hope of turquoise: a color symbolizing spiritual wealth and good fortune.
